Family IPTV: TV for the whole household.

One subscription, several screens, and everyone watches what they like. Here is how to set up MARINIOS IPTV for a family.

In most homes, the TV is not a single screen any more. There is the living-room TV, maybe one in a bedroom, a tablet for the children and a phone in the kitchen. A family IPTV plan is simply a plan with enough connections for all of them.

With MARINIOS IPTV, one login covers 1 to 5 screens at the same time, and each screen can watch something completely different.

How many screens at once?

Family with one child3 devicesMain TV, a tablet and a phone
Family with two children4 devicesTwo TVs and two tablets
Large or shared home5 devicesEveryone has their own screen

You can install the app on more devices than your plan allows. The number only limits how many play at the same time.

Room by room

Set up each screen.

Living room

The main TV, usually the one used most. A Smart TV app or a small stick works well here.

Bedroom

An older TV often sits here. A stick plugged into the HDMI port gives it a second life.

Kitchen

A phone or tablet on a stand is enough for the news or a programme while cooking.

Children

A tablet with the app installed, plus a few favourite channels saved for quick access.

Family habits

Make evenings easier.

  • ✓ Create a favourites list per room, so nobody scrolls through the whole line-up.
  • ✓ Use the 7-day guide to plan the week together.
  • ✓ Keep one screen free for guests on busy evenings.
  • ✓ Write down your login and keep it somewhere safe at home.
  • ✓ If a screen stops playing, check that nobody has opened an extra one.
In detail

Picking the right number of screens.

The simplest method is to count the screens that are genuinely used at the same time on a busy evening, then add one. That extra connection costs very little and saves the small arguments that start when someone cannot watch.

Think about the weekend as well as weekdays. Saturday evening with guests is usually the moment when a household needs the most screens at once, even if two are enough from Monday to Friday.

Internet speed matters as much as the number of connections. Count roughly 10 Mbps per screen in Full HD and 25 Mbps for a 4K screen, and prefer a wired connection for the main TV.

If your family grows out of the plan, message us on WhatsApp and we will move you to a larger one. Your login and your devices stay the same.

FAQ
